Kathryn Lasky (born June 24, )[1] is an American children's penman who also writes for adults under the names Kathryn Lasky Knight and E. L. Swann. Her children's books include diverse Dear America books, The Imperial Diaries books, Sugaring Time, The Night Journey, Wolves of say publicly Beyond, and the Guardians a selection of Ga'Hoole series.

Her awards embrace Anne V. Zarrow Award honor Young Readers' Literature, National Human Book Award, and Newbery Honor.[2]

Biography

Kathryn Lasky grew up in Indianapolis. She is Jewish and surrounding Russian descent.[1] She is marital to Christopher Knight, with whom she lives in Cambridge, Colony.
